Haxton Family 5K Walk/Run Family Fun Day

On May 14th, I attended the Haxton Family 5K Walk/Run Family Fun Day in Middletown Delaware. Although the day was cloudy and had sprinkling rain throughout the day, the fundraiser was a huge success! The event was a 5K Walk/Run to raise money for the Haxton family followed by some fun things for families to do and had plenty of yummy food to eat. There was a bounce house, face painting, a clown that performed magic tricks, and someone giving free massages! My pageant sisters and I had a great time. Local titleholders that attended were: Heather Moffett (Mrs. Harrington), Angie Hionis-Bell (Mrs. Punkin Chunkin), Valerie Speares (Mrs. Wilmington), Michelle Truban (Mrs. New Castle County), and Heather Baker (Mrs. Middletown). We helped by selling raffle tickets for an IPad and a large screen TV. We also took photographs with fun people and signed autographs.
