Seven nights ago a dream came true for me when my third attempt at capturing the Mrs. Delaware United States crown was successful! Since then my life's been a whirlwind and it's hard to believe today is Father's day!! My husband and I are celebrating with a well deserved glass of champagne. I love that after being married nine years when I look over at him I still see my best friend!! Competing in pageants has brought my husband and I closer. I can still see the tanning lotion stains on his hands from spraying me for last week's pageant. If that's not devotion than I don't know what is! LOL
I am completely thrilled and ready for the job of being Mrs. DE US 2011 and I can't wait to get out in my community. I am so excited that I can hardly wait for the opportunity to represent Delaware at the national level. Here I come Vegas!!
