You probably know how important reading is, but for many school children, they don't get the one-to-one reading that's necessary to nurture a health attitude about reading, which in turn lead to deficiencies as they matriculate through school.

I spent a fun-filled afternoon volunteering at a Read Aloud Delaware event in Dover. I read to children who attend the Early Childhood Center on the campus of DSU, I helped some of the kids make book marks, assited with face painting and gave away books and snacks.
