Having listened to the broadcast with my predecessor, I was excited to spend an hour with Tony talking about pageantry, my platform, my family and career.
One of the highlights of the interview was being able to talk about my platform, its purpose and the need to provide support for step parents. I was also glad that I had the opportunity to talk about our current educational system and some of the challenges that today’s college students face.
Of course, I wouldn't be a good pageant queen if I didn't take a moment to promote our upcoming pageants and to encourage women to sign up for the Peach Blossom Pageant and for our State Competition, so I shamelessly plugged the best pageant systems in the state!
During one of the commercial breaks, my husband sent me a text saying that the kids were in awe when they heard my voice on the radio. What a feeling and deep in my heart I know that this was another moment for me to be a role model and an inspiration to my own kids!!!
I am so glad that there is a radio program like this that allows individuals to share their lives with others. On the way out I met the hosts of Team Nitty Radio and hopefully, I’ll be back to enjoy a lively discussion with Team Nitty about issues impacting our community in the near future!
Thanks again Tony and Siouxzan for setting this all up!
When was the last time you saw an album!!! Tony prepping for the show.
On the air...live! Standing infront of the 91.3 wall.
