What a whirlwhind this past year has been - it is amazing how time just flies by.
As you may or may not know, one of my husband's best friend's, Paul Haxton, was killed in a car accident last Christmas Eve. At the state pageant this past year we gave out two special awards in tribute of Paul and Trina Haxton as well. As we reach the anniversary of Paul's death, we wanted to reflect on some things that we have come to realize this past year and share them with you. Also, we would love the opportunity to share the video, that we put together, below which showcases his life and his beautiful family.
Thank you for allowing us to share these thoughts and this video with you as we know this is not necessarily "pageant related". Happy Holidays to you and yours!!
- Life is too short to hold grudges or be negative towards others.
- Work hard to mend those relationships or rectify those things in life that maybe you should.
- Apologize to those you have wronged
- Help someone in need as you never know when you may need this help returned.
