On November 19, I was thrilled to make the short trip over the bridge to Carney’s Point, New Jersey where I judged the Miss Salem County Outstanding Teen Pageant.
Maureen Humphreys is the director and runs a terrific pageant with the aid of her daughter, Barbara. There was a great panel of judges and I know I made some new friends. After judging interview we were whisked away in a stretch Hummer to Di Paolo’s restaurant. We had a great time and I heard all the local stories about Bruce Willis. I had no idea that Bruce Willis grow up in Carney’s Point! The judges enjoyed a delicious and entertaining dinner and then were escorted back to Penn’s Gove High School to judge the on stage portion of the pageant. The pageant was well organized and the tropical island theme was a lot of fun!! Congratulations to all the beautiful contests on a job well done!!!
