It was more that seven years in the making, but I finally did it! I published a romance novel that I had been working on Since 2003.
On January 13, 2012, I had the pleasure of hosting a book signing at the Java House Cafe in Middletown, Delaware. To my surprise (not really, because she's always lending a helping hand), Crowns of Inspiration Pageant Director Siouxzan Moore arrived early to help me set up and greet guests.
I was so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from friend, family and of course pageant sisters. Your Facebook posts, text messages and phone calls inspire me to continue to do my best whether it be in pageantry, in my career, in the community or with my family.
A portion of the proceeds for all book sales will go to Literacy Volunteers Serving Adults, a nonprofit organization committed to training volunteer tutors and offering free one-on-one tutoring in basic literacy in Northern Delaware.
